uPVC Profiles

The profiles for windows and doors are made of high impact hard PVC. They are manufactured through the extrusion of a mixture of thermoplastic polymer, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the main component and various additives.

The material bases for raw PVC are ethylene and salt. Ethylene is manufactured from oil feedstock or LNG and chlorine manufactured from Natrium Chloride (salt). Ethylene and chlorine react to form vinyl chloride, a chemical gas which through polymerization produces PVC. The resulting product is a white powder.
