Increased visibility: New visual identity for EPPA
EPPA is getting a new visual identity. Accompanying the announcement of its mission and vision until 2025, the fresh logo design marks the start of the association’s new work programme.
EPPA offers its members in the profile industry neutral, fact-based information and technical know-how with a view to sustainable development. Digitalization and agility in association-life play an increasingly important role in this context. The new EPPA visual identity underlines this refined self-image. It combines a modernized, dynamic logo with the word mark “EPPA – The European Association of PVC Window System Suppliers”.
The colours blue and green, well known from the previous visual identity, ensure recognition value: on the one hand, the blue emphasizes the high quality demands of the industry on its manufactured PVC profile systems and its investments in future-oriented research and technology. On the other hand, the green underlines the strong emphasis placed on sustainability and the vision of recycling in closed loops.

Factsheet on the use of TiO2 in PVC-U profile systems online
In October 2019 the European Commission moved forward with its proposal to classify TiO2 as carcinogen (category 2) by inhalation, although multiple Member States were against such a classification. They had the opportunity to raise objections in the Council likewise as the European Parliament. None of the two made use of this right (due to insufficient internal majorities) leading to the final adoption of the decision by the end of Q1/2020.
EPPA has prepared a factsheet on the requirements and effects of this classification for the PVC window profile industry. It can be found under Downloads > Brochures (English version).
